Broadview Spine & Health Centre

My husband had been seeing Dr. Joseph Lawrence for quite some time when he asked me to see him myself for back problems which had been getting worse for the last few years.  I had been in a couple of car accidents in the mid-80′s and at that time I saw many doctors.  I went for physiotherapy, acupuncture etc., but it took years to get me back to a semi-normal condition.

I finally decided to see Dr. Joseph Lawrence on my holidays in August of 2009.  I was supposed to be relaxing and sleeping in but my back would not allow me to do so. After my first 4 weeks of treatments which included 30 minutes of oxygen therapy every visit, I started noticing a major difference in my back.  It’s with amazement that I was able to do my gardening on my knees and get up with no back pain, let alone finally sleeping at night.  After  gardening I would think to myself,  “wow-I will feel this tomorrow in my back”  but there was nothing at all.  I was able to go back to my gardening the next day and complete  many other chores around the house that I was not able to do before my treatments.  Basically treatments allowed me to do all the things I was not able to do prior to seeing Dr. Lawrence.

When you go into the Broadview Spine & Health Centre you discover that every staff member under the roof is so kind, caring and professional in everything they do to aid in your recovery.

When my husband first visited Dr. Lawrence he came home and told me how impressed he was with the whole operation.  Being from varied work backgrounds and now a teacher, he has been faced with many injuries over the years and treatment centres in which none were as professional, organized and sincere in what they do as Broadview Spine & Health Centre

When I first met Dr. Lawrence I could truly see why my husband praises him and his organization to everyone.  His calm and relaxing professional manner sets a refreshing atmosphere and he takes the time to explain what is needed for a complete recovery.

During my waking and sleeping hours I was experiencing constant pain in my lower back.  I could not sleep, sit or walk without experiencing excruciating pain.    I had an MRI which indicated I had moderate to severe multilevel degenerative disc disease.  The orthopaedic surgeon informed me that my lower back was in very poor condition and there was little he could do through surgery to eliminate my pain.  He could not recommend surgery but suggested that I try a non-surgical approach.  I was referred to Broadview Spine & Health Centre by a friend.  I met Dr. Lawrence who examined me and offered a treatment program which after 20 treatments eliminated my back pain.  I want to thank Dr. Lawrence and his staff for eliminating my pain and restoring my health.  - Howard G.
