Degenerative Disc Disease
Posted by During my waking and sleeping hours I was experiencing constant pain in my lower back. I could not sleep, sit or walk without experiencing excruciating pain. I had an MRI which indicated I had moderate to severe multilevel degenerative disc disease. The orthopaedic surgeon informed me that my lower back was in very poor condition and there was little he could do through surgery to eliminate my pain. He could not recommend surgery but suggested that I try a non-surgical approach. I was referred to Broadview Spine & Health Centre by a friend. I met Dr. Lawrence who examined me and offered a treatment program which after 20 treatments eliminated my back pain.
